RCM Examinations

RCM Examinations is a sister organization to The Royal Conservatory of Music. The high
standards of The Royal Conservatory of Music curriculum are made available and accessible
to students across the country through the RCM Examinations Certificate Program.
Examinations are conducted three times each year in more than 300 communities from coast
to coast through a network of RCM Examinations Centres.
RCM Examinations Centre Representatives

Each RCM Examinations Centre has a local Examination Centre Representative whose role
is to provide information, assist teachers and students, and ensure a successful examination
experience.

RCM Examinations Certificate Program

The Certificate Program encompasses all levels from beginner to certification as an
Associate of The Royal Conservatory of Music (ARCT), through a curriculum of up to twelve
grades. Each grade is a stepping stone established as a logical assessment point for a
developing musician.

Each year, more than 100,000 students across North America participate in the internationally
recognized Certificate Program of RCM Examinations.
